October 1st, 2013 – While Gisela Schiffmann is in Tanzania (report comes soon!), there are good news in Pinneberg. After a long time of planning it is finally official: As a part of the “Sozialcurriculum”, which supports the social engagement of the students in different working groups, the school is now cooperating with our association. There has been invented a special working-group, consisting of students from grade 5 to 13 which will be organising different events such as the sale of cakes and bazaars with the support of parent representatives and teachers. The aim of the cooperation is to arouse interest in our project in Tanzania, as well as in development policy and foreign cultures. Furthermore we are always thankful for donations, new members and motivated supporters.
We thank all involved for their engagement and look forward to a successful cooperation!
